Succulent Save the Date

Save the dates. They didn't exist. And then suddenly they did. Now these pre-invitations are as much a part of the wedding story as the veil or the cake.

I attended an engagement shindig the other day and I spotted possibly my favourite Save the Date ever. Instead of the usual fridge magnet, this couple went for something representing life, something hardy and long-lasting, something that looks great on my kitchen window sill while it reminds me that October 4th is taken.

Simple, inexpensive and super cute. I love that I will be able to keep this succulent Save the Date all the way until the wedding and beyond.
